About Me
JÓFYN (Jo Fyn) is the name I illustrate under. It’s an anagram of my full name with a tiny twist — shorter, easier to remember, and a better fit for the kind of work I want to make.
Using a name like JÓFYN puts a bit of space between me and the work. It keeps the focus where it should be — on the illustration. It’s simple, personal, and — to be honest — easier to put on things than a full name.
I’m into old Land Rovers, vintage cars, and classic movie posters. I type (badly) on a 1950s typewriter. I like things with character — the lines of a Series 1, mechanical bits that tell stories, faded signage.
Style-wise, I lean toward clean lines, flat colour, and clear storytelling — inspired by Hergé, the creator of Tintin, and the ligne claire tradition.
It all started with drawing cars, but I’d like it to grow — maybe into a small lifestyle brand. Still shaped by the same values: solid design, old machines, and things built to last. Lately, I’ve been putting my work on T-shirts and experimenting with pin badges and stickers — just seeing where it goes.
